Netanyahu denounces a Hamas attack against his troops in Gaza and announces that Israel will take “strong” retaliation

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered this Sunday to “act vigorously against terrorist targets” in Gaza, nine days after the ceasefire came into force and without clarifying whether this marks the end of it.

“Following the violation of the ceasefire by Hamas, Prime Minister Netanyahu held a consultation with the Minister of Defense and the heads of the security system, and ordered strong action against terrorist targets in the Gaza Strip,” his Office detailed in a statement.
