A succession of crossed accusations in which the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, has assured that the Islamist group has opened fire on his troops, while the Palestinians denounce new bombings on civilians.
Israel denounced this Sunday a combat in Rafah, which began with the launching of “an anti-tank missile” against Israeli troops and left two soldiers dead. This was considered “a flagrant violation” of the ceasefire agreement.
For its part, the Radea force, a police unit dependent on the Hamas Ministry of the Interior, claimed to have carried out “a security operation” this morning in Rafah against a hideout of Yasser Abu Shabableader of the rival militia known as ‘Popular Forces’.
Everything indicates that the crossfire occurred between this police unit and the Army, since the brigadas Al Qasam -the armed wing of Hamas- has disassociated itself from what happened and reiterated its commitment to the implementation of the ceasefire agreement throughout the Gaza Strip, according to reports EFE.
Hamas has explained to the United States that they have not broken the pact and who “continue to be committed” to what is contained in itat the same time that he once again throws the ball into the enemy’s court, accusing them of being the ones who have violated the agreement.
Now, the Israeli Army claimed to have “ceasefire implementation resumed” in Gaza this Sunday night after the attacks it launched on the Strip throughout the day, leaving at least 36 dead.
Netanyahu’s response to the offensive was none other than ordering his troops to “act vigorously against terrorist targets” in Gaza. “In response, the Army started bombing the area to eliminate the threat and dismantle tunnel mouths and military structures used for terrorist activity,” the text states.
In a brief statement, the Army explained that it made this decision following the instructions of the Israeli Government, and added that “it will continue to apply the ceasefire agreement and will respond firmly to any violation thereof“.

Several of the attacks occurred in central Gaza, specifically in Deir al Balah, where six people died outside a cafe; as well as in Nuseirat, where at least three fatal attacks were recorded.
The third deadly bombing in the area targeted the residence of the Al-Baz familyleaving a still undetermined number of deaths.
Also will once again allow the entry of humanitarian aid which he had denied on Sunday, as punishment to Hamas for opening fire on his troops in the Strip.
While this was happening, the United States government worked to prevent the ceasefire from collapsing after the return of violence to the strip. This has been reported by the North American media Axios, which also collects that They have asked the Government of Israel to “respond proportionately, but show restraint.”
Two new hostages
In parallel, the armed wing of Hamas, reported this Sunday that they have found the body of one of the hostages Israelis killed during their debris removal operations in the Gaza Strip.
They wanted to remember that any military escalation will hinder its delivery. The group indicated in a statement published on its networks that “it would proceed with the delivery of the body” this sunday “if conditions on the ground allow it.”
In addition, Israel has confirmed the identity of the last two hostages handed over by Hamas. It certifies that both lost their lives during the attacks of October 7, 2023.
Early Saturday morning, Israel received, through the International Committee of the Red Crossthe coffins with the mortal remains of these two deceased.
The delivery was made by the Brigadas Al Qasam (armed wing of Hamas) after the exhumation of the bodies in the Gaza Strip this Saturday, at 10:00 p.m. local time (7:00 p.m. GMT), according to a statement released by the Islamic group.
