The urgent services of obstetrics and gynecology at Nossa Senhora do Rosário Hospital in Barreiro and the Caldas da Rainha District Hospital are closed this SaturdayOctober 4, reveals the Portal of the National Health Service (NHS). Already this Sunday, October 5, the Barreiro Hospital Unit will remain urgently in this specialty.
The hospitals of Almada/Seixal, Amadora/Sintra, Braga, Santarém, São Francisco Xavier, Lisbon, Loures and Leiria today have the urgent service of obstetrics and gynecology conditioned to referenced cases Internally or that arrive via the Urgent Sick Guidance Center (CODO) of INEM, INEM or SNS24 line.
The same situation applies to the pediatric emergency service at Vila Franca de Xira and Loures units. This Sunday, October 5th Barreiro Hospital will continue with the urgency of obstetrics, and joins the São Bernardo Hospital in Setúbal.
The units of Amadora/Sintra, Santarém, Abrantes, Leiria and Vila Franca de Xira will only receive referenced patients in the urgency of obstetrics and gynecology. This conditioning extends to the urgency of pediatrics in the case of the Vila Franca de Xira Hospital.
