THREE university students have been killed in a hit-and-run after being ploughed down by a “speeding teen driver” on a crossing.
Emergency services were called to reports of the horror crash at around 11pm on North Euclid Avenue, in Arizona.
Three University of Arizona students were allegedly hit by a Porsche while walking over a marked crosswalk near campus on Thursday.
The alleged driver, Louis John Artal, 19, was charged with three counts of second-degree murder and one count of leaving the scene of an accident involving death.
Sophia Akimi Troetel, 21, and Josiah Patrick Santos22, were tragically pronounced dead at the scene.
A third pedestrian, later identified as Katya Rosaura Castillo Mendoza, 21, was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
