THIS is the moment a furious dad stormed into a school and punched a teacher nine times – all because his daughter was told to put her phone away.
Shocking footage from the Educational Center 4 in Guará, Brazil, shows the man — identified as Thiago Lênin Sousa — bursting into the coordination room before launching a brutal attack.
The 53-year-old teacher, who had moments earlier asked the student to stop using her phone and copy notes from the board, was hit repeatedly in the head as he tried to shield himself.
Other staff members could be seen rushing in to restrain the attacker as chaos erupted.
In a shocking twist, the footage also shows Sousa’s own daughter trying to stop the assault.
She weapped her arms around her father’s neck in a “rear naked choke” in a desperate attempt to pull him off the bleeding teacher.

Three other students witnessed the horrifying scene.
The shaken teacher told TV Globo: “I told her not to touch her phone and to copy the content.
“She must have called her father, and he came to school to get an explanation from me.”
Left with a black eye and bruises across his back, the teacher said he’s too traumatized to return to class.
He added: “I’m going to get a sick note, I’m going to try to get my head around a bit. Because our heads get really bad.
“I’m in no condition to go back to the classroom at the moment.”
Sousa was taken to a local police station and charged with bodily harm, insult, and contempt.
He signed a Circumstantial Occurrence Report (TCO) — typically used for lesser offenses — and will be released.
In his statement, Sousa admitted he “went after” the teacher after his daughter claimed she had been insulted but denied making threats.
When contacted by TV Globo, he declined to comment.
The Department of Education of the Federal District condemned the attack, saying in a statement: “The Secretariat condemns any form of violence in the school environment and reaffirms its commitment to ensuring a safe, welcoming, and respectful space for the entire community.”
Officials said the Guará Regional Education Coordination and the department’s Internal Affairs Division will investigate.
Meanwhile, the School Policing Battalion has been deployed to increase security at the campus.

“I’ve worked in many schools. I’ve had arguments many times, but they never ended in actual conflict like today. So, I’m very disappointed.”
