THIS is the shocking moment a plane smashes into the ground upside down and explodes in a fireball, leaving two dead.
The light aircraft flipped mid-air just after take off and immediately crashed down onto the runway in Táchira state, Venezuela.
Footage shows the Cheyenne I model plane speeding along the runway at Paramillo Airport, with an audible group of spectators.
As soon as the wheels have left the tarmac, the plane begins to flip mid-air.
When almost completely upside down, it smashes back down onto the runway.
The tragedy struck just after 9:52am, according to local paper The National.

Initial speculation suggests the pilot lost control after one of the plane’s tyres burst.
The two victims of the crash, which happened at 9:52am, have been identified as Toni Bortone and Juan Maldonado.
Local sources have said the plane was linked to government activities.
Emergency services rushed to the scene, but there was nothing they could do to save the plane’s occupants.
Aviation officials are working with the military to determine the cause of the accident.
They are considering possibilities including a mechanical failure, human error or outside conditions.
There is no official explanation yet.
