A PASSENGER has been found dead on a Carnival Cruise ship in Miami sparking an urgent FBI probe.
The individual is thought to have mysteriously died onboard but investigators did not provide any further details surrounding the event.

The ship docked at PortMiami on Saturday as scheduled.
Carnival Cruise Line said it was cooperating with investigators and is supporting the passenger’s family.
In a statement, the company said: “Since this is an ongoing matter under the jurisdiction of law enforcement, all media inquiries need to be directed to the FBI’s Miami public affairs office.”
No more details were provided about the passenger or the circumstances of their death.
HIKE HORROR
65-year-old man plunges 134ft to death after slipping off edge at Grand Canyon
It comes as a Netflix documentary and a series of cruise ship-linked deaths have put the spotlight on their operations.
Earlier this week, Dulcie White, 66, fell to her death in front of her daughter during a five-day Taylor Swift-themed cruise in the Bahamas with her body still yet to be found.
Her loved ones are now fighting for justice after they claimed Mrs White’s death was due to negligence from staff.
In a lawsuit filed in the Southern District of Florida on October 28, Mrs White’s family says the crew on board the Allure of the Seas should have limited her alcohol intake.
They claim that she was served “at least seven alcoholic beverages continuously within a span of approximately six hours and eight minutes”.
Meanwhile, earlier this month, tragedy struck when 80-year-old Suzanne Rees was reportedly abandoned on a remote island by her host cruise.
On a group hike, Suzanne apparently got lost on the way back, while all the other passengers later re-boarded the luxury vessel.
The ship set sail again without anybody noticing the OAP was missing.
A wide search operation was launched but Suzanne’s body was tragically recovered in the early hours of the morning.
Yachtie Traci Ayris, who was anchored nearby, said she and her partner heard radio transmissions from the cruise ship during the frantic search.
Ms Ayris told the Cairns Post: “They did headcounts for snorkellers (which we heard) but not for other guests on the island it would seem.
“The last people came down from the track and got into tender then the ship left very soon after that.
“There was not a lot of time between when the last passengers left the beach to when they up anchored.
“We even commented: ‘Wow they left fast.’”
And in October, questions were raised when a crew member tragically died onboard a P&O cruise.
The vessel was bound for the Caribbean on a 14-night voyage.
But an unnamed crew member sadly died on board Arvia yesterday, P&O Cruises confirmed.
However, full details regarding the fatal incident remain under investigation.
