A MUM has been accused of trying to blind her two-year-old son by pouring harmful liquid into his eyes.
Spanish police arrested the woman, 27, after the child was rushed to the hospital in August and received medical treatment after he had almost gone blind.
The mum had allegedly been harming her son for months. Spanish news outlet ABC Valencian reported.
He is now under the guardianship of the administration.
The outlet also said that the woman has another seven-year-old daughter who is blind.
She is said to have arrived from Algeria where she has her family.
Cops said they are now investigating the case, adding that the mum may be suffering from a mental disorder.
