Israel’s attacks in the Gaza Strip have killed at least 16 people during this Sunday, October 5th. The population of that region continues to await a peace agreement between Israelites and Hamas.
The data were released by the local health authorities and cited by Reuters, the same day as a US delegation should gather as representatives of Hamas in Cairo (Egypt).
Marco Rubio, the US Secretary of State, warned that the war is still underway, “we will know very quickly whether or not Hamas is honest by the way these technical conversations take place in terms of logistics.” The statements refer to the liberation of hostages and were provided at NBC News.
It is recalled that, the day before, Donald Trump, president of the US, has known that Israel agreed with plans of a “initial retreat” from Gaza. The US President has been the external actor who most urges at the end of the war and wrote, on the social network “Truth Social” that, if Hamas confirmation arises, “the ceasefire will immediately come into force.”
