A NETFLIX K-Pop star is in hospital after wrestling with an armed home invader alongside her mum.
Nana, 34, was injured and her mum knocked out as they struggled with the man and detained him at the singer’s house in the suburbs of Seoul, South Korea.
A man in his 30s broke into Nana’s house while she home with her mother, according to a detective at the Guri Police Station.
He reportedly threatened them with a weapon and demanded money.
But the pair bravely confronted him, managing to overpower and detain him until police arrived.
The detective said: “She and her mother overpowered the intruder, a man in his 30s, in a physical struggle, resulting in his arrest.”
They added that the suspect is being held on charges of aggravated robbery.
Nana, real name Im Jin-ah, debuted in 2009 as a member of K-pop girl group After School.
She found fame as part of a trio within the group, Orange Caramel.
Their music videos have racked up tens of millions of views online.
After School is no longer active, Nana has since continued to gain popularity over the past decade as an actor.
She has starred in several TV series, including Kill It and Justice, both crime dramas which first aired in 2019.
Nana has also just release her first solo album in September.
